This Privacy Policy applies to the LiveGlobe application (hereinafter referred to as the "App") operated by Pinpatch (hereinafter referred to as "we", "us", or "our"). This policy elaborates on our data processing principles, user permission rules, third-party service specifications, data security measures, and user rights and interests protection rules. It governs all user access to and use of the App’s services.
By downloading, installing, and using the LiveGlobe App, you fully acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of this policy, please stop using our services immediately.
1. Core Privacy Philosophy & Service Positioning
1.1 Privacy by Design Principle
LiveGlobe adheres to the core design concept of Privacy by Design and takes user data sovereignty as the primary benchmark of product design. All core service architectures of the App are built based on edge computing technology. We fundamentally abandon the centralized user data collection, storage and tracking model adopted by most traditional internet applications.
Our product design takes "zero surveillance, zero intrusion, user data self-control" as the core goal. All core service logic, data calculation and interactive processing are completed locally on your personal device, avoiding remote server collection and monitoring of user personal behavior and identity information, and fully protecting your privacy freedom during use.
1.2 Service Scope Definition
The core service of LiveGlobe is to aggregate and present legally accessible public network live camera streams and map scene resources. All services are oriented to public legal resource browsing, and we do not provide any illegal monitoring, private peeping or unauthorized video collection services.
2. Zero-Data Commitment: Personal Information Non-Collection Specification
We strictly implement the Zero-Data Commitment. The App is technically engineered to operate normally without collecting, storing or using any of your personal identifiable information. We confirm that we will never actively collect any personal privacy data related to you in any form.
2.1 No Account System & Identity Registration
LiveGlobe does not set up any user account system. You are not required to complete registration, bind mobile phone numbers, email addresses or social media accounts (including but not limited to Facebook, Google, Twitter, Instagram) to use all core functions of the App. We do not create any personal user profile for you, and there is no user identity association data in the whole service process.
2.2 No Personal Identity Information Collection
We will never collect, record or store any of your personal identity information, including but not limited to your name, gender, age, avatar, contact information, residential address, ID information, etc. Meanwhile, we do not obtain any device unique identifiers, including but not limited to IMEI code, IDFA, MAC address, device serial number, hardware model identification code and other device fingerprint information, and will not associate your device with your personal identity.
2.3 No User Behavior Data Recording
All your operation behaviors on the App, including public camera view browsing, map view switching, stream viewing duration, function clicking and other interactive behaviors, are all processed and recorded locally on your device only. We will not upload your browsing history, operation logs, viewing preferences, interactive records and other behavioral data to any remote server. Your use track is completely private and only stored in your local device cache temporarily.
3. Minimal Device Permission Management Rules
LiveGlobe strictly follows the user-controlled minimal permission principle. The App will not actively apply for any device permission during installation or initial startup. All device permissions are only triggered by your active operation, and all permission authorization is completely controlled by you.
3.1 List of Optional Permissions & Usage Purpose
All permissions that the App may apply for are only used to realize basic service functions, and no permission will be used for data collection, tracking or advertising push:
- Network Permission: Used to load and access public live stream resources and realize normal service connection; this permission is a basic network access requirement for App operation, and no user data is collected through network access.
- Local Cache Permission: Used to temporarily cache stream resources and operation logs locally to optimize user experience; all cached data is automatically cleared after the App is closed.
3.2 Permission Revocation Mechanism
You have the right to check and revoke all authorized permissions of the App at any time through the system settings of your mobile device. Revoking relevant permissions will only affect the corresponding partial function experience of the App, and will not lead to any risk of personal information leakage. After you revoke the permission, we will no longer obtain any relevant device access rights.
We will never apply for background permissions, automatic startup permissions, monitoring permissions and other unnecessary sensitive device permissions, and will not monitor your device status in the background.
4. Third-Party Resources & Data Analytics Specification
4.1 Third-Party Public Live Streams
The public camera live streams and map resources displayed by LiveGlobe are all aggregated from legally open and publicly accessible network resources. We solemnly declare:
- We do not own, operate or control the source of all third-party public streams, and all stream resources are within the scope of legal public access;
- We will not modify, intercept, record, store or forward any third-party live stream content;
- The connection between your device and the third-party stream server is direct and temporary. After you close the stream playback, the connection will be automatically disconnected, and no persistent connection record will be retained;
- For any illegal, inappropriate or unauthorized content involved in third-party public resources, users have the right to feedback to us, and we will remove the relevant aggregated resources in a timely manner after verification.
4.2 Privacy-First Performance Analytics
To optimize App stability, fix crash bugs and improve service fluency, we adopt zero-privacy, anonymized third-party analytics tools for basic performance monitoring. The relevant data processing rules are as follows:
- Data Type: Only collect anonymous App operation performance data, including App crash probability, operation latency, function loading speed, service access stability and other technical data;
- Anonymization Processing: All analytical data is completely de-identified, without any user personal information, device identification information and behavioral track information;
- Aggregation Scope: Data is only aggregated and counted at the national/regional level, and cannot be positioned to individual users or individual devices;
- Prohibition of Sharing: We will not provide any analytical data to advertising networks, marketing institutions or other third-party commercial organizations, and will not use monitoring data for user portrait drawing, precise push and commercial marketing.
5. Local Data Clearing & Global Security Compliance
5.1 Local Data Automatic Clearing Mechanism
All data generated during your use of the App, including temporary session data, local cache files, operation interaction logs and temporary resource cache, are all stored in the local memory and cache of your device only. When you completely close the LiveGlobe App, the system will automatically and thoroughly clear all temporary data and cache records generated in this use process, without any manual operation required.
We do not set any persistent local data storage mechanism, and no use record or cache data will be retained on your device after the App is closed, ensuring that your local use track is completely cleared.
5.2 Global Regulatory Compliance
LiveGlobe's zero-knowledge and zero-data service architecture naturally complies with global mainstream personal data protection regulations, including but not limited to the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD) and other regional data protection laws and regulations.
Since we do not collect, store or process any of your personal identifiable information, the core user rights stipulated in relevant laws and regulations, such as data portability, personal information query, deletion, correction and objection to processing, are automatically fulfilled by our local-only technical architecture. There is no situation where user personal data is held by us, so there is no risk of data leakage, illegal processing or unauthorized sharing.
6. User Rights & Interest Protection
Based on our zero-data service model, you enjoy comprehensive privacy protection rights during all use processes:
- Right to Privacy Autonomy: You can independently control all device permissions of the App, freely choose to use or stop using the service, and your use behavior will not be tracked or recorded;
- Right to Data Clearing: All local use data is automatically cleared after the App is closed, and you can also manually clear the App cache through device settings at any time;
- Right to No Marketing Disturbance: We will not collect your information for commercial marketing, nor will we actively push advertisements, messages or promotional content to you;
- Right to Complaint and Feedback: For any privacy security doubts, service problems or rights infringement problems during use, you can contact us through the official contact channel to solve the problem.
7. Policy Updates & Notification Rules
7.1 Update Mechanism
We reserve the right to update and revise this Privacy Policy in a timely manner according to App function upgrades, service optimization, technical iteration and changes in national and regional legal regulations. The revised privacy policy will be displayed in the latest version in the App, and the updated effective date will be marked at the top of the policy.
7.2 User Confirmation Rules
Your continued use of the LiveGlobe App after the policy update is deemed as your full acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy. If you do not recognize the updated terms, you shall immediately stop using all our services. We recommend that you regularly check this Privacy Policy to understand the latest privacy protection rules.
